Katniss rolled her eyes and sighed, “How do you know that I wouldn’t want to know?” She said, smirking slightly. “I may just surprise you.” She said the last line in a whisper and she smirked again. Was it possible for her to play Finnick’s little game? She sure thought so, and she was going to play it just like he does. She glanced over at the rest of the group again, her eyes falling on Peeta almost instantly. What was he planning? What was on his mind? Probably he meant both of them, but somehow he preferred to let her think about that a little. Perhaps it was better for her to have some doubts about his real intentions. Wasn’t that just the show that President Snow was hoping for them to play? It was sick how quickly all of them turned into his own living puppets. “Oh i don’t have doubts that you will want to know them. Everyone loves secrets, right?” He asked, whispering the words slowly to make sure that she would caught everything that he was saying. “The most important question is…can you survive knowing them?” Finnick smirked at that.
She stared at him. How did he know about the Quarter Quell? It hadn’t even been announced yet. She clentched her teeth...
Some people weren’t hard to read and Finnick Odair was a professional at that. It wasn’t difficult, because some of them...
